Project Management

When I worked with Workspaces, I was assigned to the FSM industry. Set to conduct workshops with Product Managers to understand the nature of users and the business requirements achieving retention and productivity. Follow the template set to apply in all industries. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to produce building boxes, a.k.a. skeleton of widgets based on task prioritization.

Key takeaways

  • Use role-based workspaces with industry-specific personas to enhance dashboards and emphasize critical information through visualization.

  • Foster teamwork by providing tools and environments tailored to the specific roles and functions within the organization, improving communication and collaboration among team members.

  • Streamline workflows by equipping employees with the resources and information pertinent to their roles, enabling them to complete tasks more efficiently.

  • Insights and problems we found out through the help of user researchers, the designs are a bit bland and copy messages are not clear. Recommended UI changes and gotten help from UX writers to improve copy.

Outcome

  • In terms of user feedback on the interface being bland, this has been raised to improve the look and feel of the design system components.

  • We could introduce innovative widgets and ideas to improve user workflow, but we were dealt with content information that was only feasible.

The impact of starting to improve the workspaces and getting it out is the first step of many innovations to come. Iterations of how to better display information and test it out. This project also touches the need to improve the interface of the Design System.
